... unless they're perfecto's. The actual opening is about 44 ring. This wouldn't be a big limitation, except that there is a depth of about 5/64 from the outside of the hole to the cutting edge, so the cigar really has to be a fairly narrow ring for the cutter to work. (This is unlike, say, a Palio, which has a 48 ring opening, but will clip cigars that are much larger due to its design.) OTOH, this little knife is perfect for Corona's (42 ring) and below - and any torpedo's or similar perfecto's - and does make a nice cut. However, definitely not something to use as a primary cutter - but I have my Palio's for that. :-)
